Lastly, the concept and system of community corrections has been a discussion topic within criminal justice reform for several years now. Questions have been posed as to whether probation is just a default system to fast track offenders to prison as a result of a minor violations. But what does the research suggest? What is your opinion of Klockars "A Theory of Probation." Are we using the system of Probation correctly in America? What are other countries doing in regards to probation and the system of community supervision.
