After watching the video "U.S. Criminal Justice System: Washington State" link the concepts from the video to the various pains of imprisonment. Is imprisonment a viscous cycle, aside from confinement and rehabilitation. Should the criminal justice system be concerned with the long term affects of imprisonments.

Lastly, the concept and system of community corrections has been a discussion topic within criminal justice reform for several years now. Questions have been posed as to whether probation is just a default system to fast track offenders to prison as a result of a minor violations.
