Question

1. After an oral contract for the sale of a tract of land has been made, Allen writes a letter to Bernard repeating that he will sell his land to Bernard and Allen signs the letter. Bernard refuses to buy, and Allen sues. Bernard asserts the Statute of Frauds. Decide.

Few oral contracts are enforceable, but the contracts related to ownership of land needs to be in written as per the statute of fraud.
