This checklist is designed to guide your written assignment preparation. We will also discuss the assignment in tutorials from week 3.

    3. Complete week 3 core readings which are highly relevant to planning this assignment:

     5. Based on the question you have selected and what you have learnt from the week 3 lecture and readings and the Libguide, determine your concepts and key words and complete your logic grid and search summary (attachment 1). This must be attached to your final assignment for submission.

     6. Start your literature search using Findit@Flinders and Google Scholar databases. 

     7. As you collect articles summarise the findings of relevant articles in the literature summary table in attachment 2. You can use this summary table to guide the write-up of your thematic analysis and summary of findings. At this point you might be interested in the following book chapters:

• Chapter 6 How do I know if the evidence is convincing and useful? in Aveyard, H. & Sharp, P. (2013). A Beginner's Guide to Evidence-Based Practice in Health and Social Care. Berkshire, UK: Open University Press. (Available online through the library).  

     8. Submit any questions you may have about the literature searching aspect of your assignment to the library-moderated discussion forum on the HLTH1306 FLO site (located under Assessment Exercise 3 Dropbox).

     9.If you haven’t previously completed the Academic Integrity Quiz please visit the ACINT001 site on FLO to complete the quiz (should be under your ‘Additional’ section on your FLO homepage.

    10. Now you have collated your research evidence and summarized it start writing your assignment draft. Seek help from tutor if you have specific questions about the format or content of the assignment. Seek help from the Student Learning Center if you want assistance with writing skills, help with editing a draft and referencing skills.
